About me

I'm Mike Silvers. I build the system, and I'm the one who sets it up in your office.

I've been building software and infrastructure since 1999, including systems for organizations in healthcare, legal and finance. Over the past year I've focused on AI systems, and I completed DeepLearning.AI's Retrieval Augmented Generation course.

I wrote rag-docker, an open-source system that lets a firm ask questions of its own documents on its own network, with nothing sent to an outside AI service. Anyone can read how it works. Quietbinder is how I set it up and support it for small firms.

I'm based in Salisbury, Maryland. For firms on the Delmarva Peninsula and in the Washington, DC area, I set up and train in person where the setup includes it. Everywhere else in the US, I work by video call.
